Guitar Repair #367 - Handcraft Nut & Saddle + Setup- Yamaha - Hybrid Classical

 Yamaha's electric nylon NX series
NTX1200R
Beautiful, lush, ultra light case. The exterior is classy too.
You'll love this case when you see it!
The saddle is plastic and is a little too loose.
The potential of the instrument can be realised with a well fitted saddle and nut.
See how loose it is.
Plastic nut that the owner wants to upgrade to bone

This is a hybrid Classical have friendlier specs, smaller width @nut- 48mm,
as well as width @12th fret - 56mm

Saddle length is about standard- 79.5mm
Saddle width - 2.7mm
(current saddle width is 2.3mm, hence, it's a little too loose)

 Original plastic saddle & nut
Bone blanks selected
Much work was done to get the nut to fit perfectly to the slot

Getting the ends to a round
Completed and polish to shine
 Original bridge
Since it's unfinished, I went ahead to oil it. It's like moisturiser!
Didn't get to picture the original damage. Here it is filled.
 Done
 There's another one nearby.
Both levelled and finished to a matte look to match.
Wouldn't say it's an invisible repair, but it looks quite unnoticable.
