May as well shape it somehow
I have no idea how this shape came about.
It just felt right, that moment.

For reinforcements, a rigid cleat of wood or even veneers was impossible to apply to the jagged damaged area. I used an everyday item we all use - tissues!
After, the glue dries, this tissue cleat was hard as a rock!

For asthetics, I needed some inlay. So I made a 3-D cube design with veneers of maple and walnut,
which I usually use for my guitar purflings and shims to raise the saddle or nut during a setup.
Glued in
Filled the remaining area with ebony dust.
Looks better now I hope
