Guitar Repair #409 - Bridge Replacement - Simon Marty - Classical

 Simon Marty
Gilbert styled bridge
The owner wasn't aware that the bridge had lifted,
until a concern friend highlighted it.
Not only that, three soundboard braces came loose.
The bridge came off a little damaged, as the wings were feather thin in the middle.
The spatula that needed to pry the bridge got caught.
It's no wonder Simon Marty was to send a new bridge to the owner (darker one above).
The new bridge arrived and it gets glued on after both mating surfaces were preped
The glue squeeze-out were quickly cleaned before I could take any pictured.
The bridge is perfectly mated to the soundboard to restore the original sound.
The tuners posts was also giving way...

They were hard to turn because the strings are caught!
