This guitar orchestra instrument's machine was literally hanging loose. They were installed but no mounting screws were there, as none of the holes lined up. The owners tied the treble side with an old nylon string. But that didn't prevent the nylon tuner post from hanging by itself, instead of living in the housing holes! Surprise to find the machine heads still work after countless days of being stranded with those gigantic contrabass strings!
