After gluing back the entire loose soundboard, there was this part with missing binding ledge
Original damage with missing binding and white purfling. As pictured, the black purfling is still intact (nearest to the soundboard)
Careful cleaning, not to damage the black purfling and squaring the ledge to fit a new one
Scrap of Spanish cedar from the neck of a previous build with maple veneer
Maple veneer glued on
Bent to fit the curve

Rough level sanding
Final touchup to match surrounding gloss
The maple veneer allowed to continue as a result
