The string dink was repaired before
It was filled well but not levelled enough.
The blurry patch shows signs of level sanding, which also needs to be addressed
Firstly, excess glue needed to be removed...
...some gentle and patient wet sanding
The dink is evidently darkened by the fill, but the surface is levelled
It looks less obvious
